Things To Do
Matagorda, like the island of Lanzarote is a safe destination with a laid-back, casual vibe. It is extremely clean with easy walking access to Beach, Bars, Restaurants and Boutiques. Trouble-free access for those with poor mobility, offering excellent accessibility and ramps, families with prams and young children. The entire area is set-up in a new pedestrianised zone with cycle lanes running alongside.
The Matagorda area is set out with pleasant and level cactus parks to walk through, and sculpture art and sand art to admire. Car access is available straight to the door at Guacimeta. There is a Taxi Rank a few minutes’ walk away and there is also a cheap and regular bus service. Matagorda also has several Cycle Hire and Car Hire outlets.
